Brave Entertainment is launching its new K-pop group, Candy Shop. After Brave Girls ended their contract with the music label, this will be Brave Entertainment’s first venture into creating another K-pop girl group.
Founded by Kang Dong Chul, aka Brave Brothers, the music label Brave Entertainment has been a former home of several K-pop artists, including the group Brave Girls, Electroboyz, Park Soo-Jin, and more.
Currently, Brave Entertainment is home to rising K-pop boy band DKB and upcoming girl group Candy Shop.

Brave Entertainment announced the arrival of a new girl group, Candy Shop, in 2024. The K-pop rookie group will have four members in total. Details of three members of the group have been unveiled.
Former My Teenage Girl contestant Cho Sui is one of the Candy Shop members. The 16-year-old gained fame from MBC’s survival K-pop reality show My Teenage Girl. The K-pop trainee was eliminated in the ninth episode of the show. But after a rough start, Sui is making her K-pop dreams come true with Candy Shop.
Another My Teenage Girl contestant, Choi Sarang, will also debut with Brave Entertainment’s Candy Shop. The 16-year-old K-pop newbie has been a former trainee of P Nation. Like Sui, Sarang also bid (temporarily) goodbye to her K-pop dreams in the ninth episode of My Teenage Girl.
But, after leaving P Nation, she is finally making a fresh start with Brave Entertainment to make her debut.
The third member of Candy Shop is Soram. Before her debut, she appeared in Brave Entertainment’s K-pop group DKB’s “All Yours” music video in 2023.
Brave Entertainment has also explained the meaning of the new K-pop group Candy Shop in an Instagram post. As per the label, “Candy Shop is a compound word of ‘CAtch N Draw Youth’, which means ‘let’s catch and draw youth,’ and ‘Shop’ symbolizes the space that connects members and listeners.”
The label further noted: “The members, who have a variety of charms like the colorful ‘Candy’ have the ambition to lead listeners’ sympathy by presenting music that represents their generation.”
After the burst of success with Brave Girls, K-pop fans are looking forward to the new group’s debut, which promises to bring the best of Korean Pop elements with its music, charming members, and youthful ambition.
