NewJeans will return to the Billboard stage to perform at the 2024 Billboard Women in Music Awards. The K-pop quintet, who took the music charts by storm with multiple Billboard Hot 100 charter hits, will also be snagging a special trophy at the ceremony.
The 2024 edition of Billboard Women in Music Awards has confirmed its lineup. Karol G, Charli XCX, Ice Spice, Kylie Minogue, Victoria Monét, and more artists, whose impact on music charts was undeniable in 2023, will attend the ceremony.

NewJeans has been making waves in the music industry since their debut in 2022. The rookie group’s dominance in the music now gets new recognition from Billboard as they snag the Group of the Year trophy.
Aside from their fans, NewJeans seemed elated at the news as they took to X to celebrate the milestone moment. On X (formerly Twitter), the group shared, “We’re thrilled to be performing at the 2024 Billboard Women in Music Awards in LA on March 6th. Can’t wait to share this special evening alongside Bunnies and meet all the artists that we’ve always looked up to.”
The Billboard Women in Music Awards ceremony will take place on March 6, 2024, at 5 p.m. PT, where the “OMG” crooners are confirmed to perform. Global fans can watch the ceremony on the event’s official website.
It is not the first time for NewJeans to be gracing the Billboard stage. The “Ditto” singers made their U.S. awards show performance debut at the 2023 Billboard Music Awards on November 19, 2023.
The girl band stunned the audience with an unforgettable performance of their viral hits “Super Shy” and “OMG.” Their exceptional performance on several Billboard charts also led to the group’s major win. Notably, NewJeans beat BTS Jimin, TXT, and Stray Kids and won the new top global K-pop artist award.
