Boy band ASTRO member Cha Eun-Woo is set to release his first solo album this year. The singer is also a popular South Korean actor who is currently starring in MBC’s A Good Day To Be a Dog.
According to Cha Eun-Woo’s agency, Fantagio, he is preparing for his first solo. As such, it will likely be released in the first half of this year. Until now, he has sung singles, but mostly for his K-dramas. His latest was A Good Day To Be a Dog’s OST “Jealousy.”
Aside from Cha Eun-Woo, the ASTRO band includes three more members — MJ, Jinjin, and Yoon San-Ha. Initially, it consisted of six members, but Rocky left the group last year in February, while Moonbin passed away in April 2023.
A Good Day To Be a Dog’s Cha Eun-Woo’s agency confirms his solo debut
On Tuesday, January 9, 2024, SPOTV NEWS reported that the ASTRO member is getting ready for his solo debut. Fantiago, Cha Eun-Woo’s agency, then confirmed the report.
The agency stated, “Cha Eun Woo is preparing his first solo album with the goal of releasing it in the first half of 2024. In particular, he is preparing with the objective of unveiling the songs from his solo album for the first time on stage at his first fan-con, which is scheduled to be held at Jamsil Indoor Stadium on February 17, so please show lots of anticipation.” Hence, fans can expect Cha Eun-Woo’s solo album to be released next month.
Meanwhile, his MBC drama is set to end on Wednesday, January 10, 2024. A Good Day To Be a Dog also stars Park Gyu-Young and Lee Hyun-Woo in lead roles. Some of Cha Eun-Woo’s popular dramas include True Beauty, My ID is Gangnam Beauty, Island, and Rookie Historian Goo Hae-Ryung.
