BTS leader RM and member V officially began military service on Monday, December 11, 2023. They have shared heartfelt messages with fans before enlisting, expressing their unwavering love for their fans.
As reported by My Daily, on Monday, December 11, Kim Namjoon, aka RM, and Kim Taehyung, aka V, entered the Army Training Center in Nonsan of South Chungcheong Province, South Korea, to begin their mandatory military service duties as active duty soldiers. Six vehicles entered the center back to back. The report also says that apart from V and RM, the rest of the members of BTS, including Jin, Jimin, J-Hope, Suga, and Jungkook, are present in Nonsan.

Recently, BTS member Jin, who is currently serving in the South Korean military, posted a picture of himself with RM and V on Instagram. He also wrote a heart-melting caption addressed to his fellow global superstars. The caption reads, “Don’t get hurt and drive safely my babies.”

As the reports suggest, V and RM are all set to join their respective units after completing their basic military training. It was disclosed earlier that Taehyung, aka V, will serve in the Special Task Force (STF) of the South Korean Army Capital Defense Command.
However, V assured fans in the last group live of BTS on Weverse that he has a goal that he wants to fulfill in the military and he will return safely. Besides V, RM, Jungkook, and Jimin were present in that Weverse live. Jungkook and Jimin are all set to enter the military service on Tuesday, December 12, 2023.
