Australian singer-songwriter and rapper The Kid LAROI recently dropped the song and music video of Too Much, featuring BTS’ Jeon Jung-Kook (Jungkook) and Central Cee. This international trio shared a stage as they are seen vibing to the tunes of the song ahead of the release of LAROI’s full-length album, The First Time, next month.
Too Much dropped Thursday night, October 19, 2023, and has since created a major sensation due to the collaboration between The Kid LAROI, Jungkook, and Central Cee. LAROI and Central Cee serve as the co-writers of the track alongside other major artists, including Justin Bieber, Jasper Harris, Omer Fedi, Emile Haynie, Blake Slatkin, and Billy Walsh.
The Kid LAROI, Jungkook & Central Cee seen vibing together in the Too Much MV
In the Too Much MV, The Kid LAROI, Jungkook and Central Cee appear on the cover of a fictional magazine named Too Much. The song begins with Jungkook’s verse. He sings, “If we had the chance and the time to spend, would you do it again? Would you do it again?,” following the recurring verse, “Was it too much?”
The magazine covers then transform into real-life performances by the three international stars. The song describes a couple’s relationship issues. Aside from that, it also talks about one’s desperate plea to sort out their problems and get back together. The Kid LAROI’s song is accompanied by Jungkook’s smooth vocals and Central Cee’s rap vibes.
Before the release of Too Much, The Kid LAROI had already teased the single. Here, he hinted working alongside BTS’ Jungkook. On October 5, 2023, he shared a picture on Twitter with Jungook’s Funko Pop! figurine and captioned it, “Was it too much?.” He also posted a picture with Jungkook on Instagram and wrote, “Me & JK,” along with emojis and a link to the Too Much magazine that teased an announcement on October 10, 2023.
The Kid LAROI’s album, The First Time, is due in November. Meanwhile, Jungkook is also preparing to release his solo album, Golden, which is set to arrive on November 3, 2023. The BTS member has some big names on the tracklist, including DJ Snake, Major Lazer. Moreover, the album will also have his previously released singles – Seven feat. Latto and 3D feat. Jack Harlow.
