The drama will premiere on Monday, August 26, 2024, at 8:50 p.m. KST on tvN. As per the network’s announcement, the drama also features Lee Sang-Yi and Han Ji-Hyun in pivotal roles. The romantic comedy has garnered much attention due to the cast and the storyline.
No Gain No Love will follow the story of a woman who plans to get into a fake marriage so as not to miss out on a promotion at work. She convinces a man who accepts the absurd offer but faces the consequences later. Director Kim Jung-Shik, famous for Strong Girl Namsoon, helms the series. No Gain No Love K-drama: Who is in the cast?
No Gain No Love stars Shin Min-Ah and Kim Young-Dae as the lead couple. Other cast members, including Lee Sang-Yi and Han Ji-Hyun, will play interesting roles in this drama. The story follows the journey of a woman named Son Ha-Young (Shin Min-Ah), who calculates profits and losses in every circumstance in hopes of not losing any money. She applies the same tactic to her relationships as well. However, when she faces the possibility of losing out on a promotion, she plans a fake wedding.
Meanwhile, Kim Young-Dae plays a part-time convenience store worker, Kim Ji-Wook. He is a righteous person and always helps people in need. He receives a strange proposal from Ha-Young but accepts it in the end, as he only has to attend the wedding. However, this only marks the beginning of his new life. Lee Sang-Yi plays Bok Gyu-Hyun, the CEO of Ha-Young’s company, who doesn’t believe in fate or fairytale love.
Lastly, Han Ji-Hyun plays web novel writer Nam Ja-Yeon, with her stage name Yeon Bora. She only writes about love and gets entangled in Gyu-Hyun’s life. Ja-Yeon is also Ha-Young’s roommate and is more like a family member than a friend.
