Seoul International Drama Awards 2024 voting has recently opened, giving an opportunity to fans to choose their favorite artist. The global vote is conducted through an online app, IDOL CHAMP.
Seoul International Drama Awards 2024 has opened the voting process for two categories—Outstanding Asian Star and Outstanding Korean Drama OST. In the first category, actors and actresses from six Asian countries are nominated. Moreover, the K-drama nominees include Lovely Runner’s Byeon Woo-Seok and Kim Hye-Yoon and Queen of Tears’ Kim Soo-Hyun and Kim Ji-Won.
Meanwhile, the voting lines are open from June 15, 2024, to July 14, 2024.
Seoul International Drama Awards 2024 voting: How to vote via IDOL CHAMP App?
The Seoul International Drama Awards 2024 voting process is quite simple. Fans need to install the IDOL CHAMP App and select the event. Then, they can opt for their favorite under the categories of Outstanding Asian Star and Outstanding Korean Drama OST.
The official press release on the award’s site reads, “The participants of the events will randomly get tickets for the SDA Ceremony in Korea and ‘IDOL CHAMP’ CHAMSIM rewards, which can be used for voting.”
Fans’ votes will decide the winner of the upcoming event. The Outstanding Asian Star category divides the K-drama actor nominations into male and female separately. The male nominees include Kim Soo-Hyun (Queen of Tears), Byeon Woo-Seok (Lovely Runner), Cha Eun-Woo (Wonderful World), Song Kang (My Demon), Suho (Missing Crown Prince), Lee Junho (King the Land), and Chae Jong-Hyeop (Castaway Diva).
Additionally, the female nominees are Kim Ji-Won (Queen of Tears), Kim Hye-Yoon (Lovely Runner), Park Bo-Young (Daily Dose of Sunshine), Lim Yoon-Ah (King the Land), and Go Yoon-Jung (Moving).
Furthermore, Outstanding Korean Drama OST nominees feature Crush (Queen of Tears OST), NewJeans (My Demon OST), Miyeon of (G)I-DLE (My Dearest OST), Seungkwan of SEVENTEEN (Tell Me That You Love Me OST), and Seo Eun-Kwang of BTOB (Chief Detective 1958 OST).
Aside from South Korea, the other five Asian countries nominated under the Outstanding Asian Star are Indonesia, the Philippines, Thailand, Malaysia, and Singapore. Thailand’s Blue Pongtiwat Tangwancharoen from Netflix’s Ready, Set, Love and Poompat Iam-samang from Start-Up are on the nomination list. The list also includes Filipino actress Kim Chiu, Malaysian actress Emily Chan, Singaporean actor Desmond Tan, and Indonesia’s actress Ochi Rosdiana.
