The Primetime Emmy Award-winning South Korean actor Lee Jung-Jae has been receiving a lot of positive attention from both critics and viewers for his portrayal of Sol in The Acolyte. The character Sol is a respected Jedi master. It is one of the central characters in the series. The Acolyte is an ongoing Star Wars franchise series that premiered on Disney Plus on June 4, 2024. He portrayed one of the central characters, Baek Jae-Hee, in the series. It centers around the friendship between two men, including a gangster, Park Tae-Soo, and a prosecutor, Kang Woo-Suk. 

The story unfolds when their friendship faces challenges during the tumultuous Korean period of the 1970s and 1980s. The cast of Sandglass also includes Choi Min-Soo and Go Hyun-Jung, among others.

The Face Reader

The Face Reader is a critically acclaimed action period-drama Korean movie that debuted in theaters on September 11, 2013. Well-known director Han Jae-Rim helmed the film. Lee Jung-Jae played the pivotal character of Grand Prince Suyang in the movie. He received the prestigious Baeksang Arts Award for the role.

The Face Reader chronicles the story of the Joeson dynasty’s most skilled face reader, Nae-Gyeong, played by Song Kang-Ho. Other cast members of the film include Jo Jung-suk, Baek Yoon-Sik, Lee Jong-Suk, and several others.

Deliver Us from Evil

Deliver Us from Evil is an action-packed and highly electrifying Korean movie that made its debut on August 5, 2020, in theaters in South Korea. Hong Won-Chan has acted as both the screenwriter and director of the movie. Actor Lee Jung-Jae portrays one of the main characters, Ray, in the film.

Deliver Us from Evil centers around the story of a hitman, In-Nam, and a man named Ray, who is looking for revenge. Besides Lee Jung-Jae, the cast list for the movie also includes Park Jeong-Min, Park So-Yi, Choi Hee-Seo, and others.

City of the Rising Sun

City of the Rising Sun is another highly thrilling action-drama Korean film that premiered in theaters on January 9, 1999. Kim Sung-Su has served as the director of the movie. He has also written the screenplay with Sam Shin. Lee Jung-Jae plays one of the lead characters, Hong-Ki, in the movie.

City of the Rising Sun follows the story of Do-Chul (Jung Woo-Sung), a boxer, and Hong-Ki, a swindler, who are close friends. The film showcases their struggles in life. It is set in 1990s Korea. It also stars Han Go-Eun, Lee Beom-Soo, Park Ji-Hun, and others.
