After Snowdrop, Blackpink’s Jisoo is all set to make her debut with the Korean movie Omniscient Reader’s Viewpoint. The film also stars Lee Min-Ho, Ahn Hyo-Seop, Choi Young Joon, and other popular actors. Directed by Kim Byung-Woo, the film is based on a manhwa.
The storyline of the manhwa revolves around the mysterious life story of Kim Dok-Ja. Dok-Ja is an office worker whose life turns upside down when he starts reading a novel, Three Ways to Survive in a Ruined World, featuring the main character, Yoo Joong-Hyuk. Ahn Hyo-Seop plays Kim Dok-Ja, while Lee Min-Ho portrays Yoo Joong-Hyuk. Recently, the director shared the news that they have finished their six-month-long shooting schedule.

The widely popular manhwa Omniscient Reader’s Viewpoint is written by Sing Shong, and it was first published in 2018 and ended in 2020. Now, the manhwa is being adapted for a movie under Kim Byung-Woo’s direction, and fans are very excited to see the outcome. Furthermore, the star-studded cast has added interest and excitement among fans.
The filming of the movie Omniscient Reader’s Viewpoint has ended. The director shared a few images on his X (Twitter) account along with a caption that read, “We will now end filming. To all the actors and staff who worked hard for nearly 6 months, I believe that your hard work will definitely pay off. I expect that you will see a movie that exceeds whatever you imagine. 2025. Summer.”
In addition to Ahn Hyo-Seop, Lee Min-Ho, and Jisoo, the movie also stars Chae Soo-Bin, Nana, Park Ho-San, and others. While Hyo-Seop and Min-Ho play the leading characters, Jisoo portrays one of the most important roles as Lee Ji-Hye.
