SBS’ upcoming K-drama Connection stars Ji-Sung and Jeon Mi-Do in the lead. However, the Friday-Saturday drama released the rest of the cast details.
The drama’s storyline revolves around an ace detective, Jang Jae-Kyung (Ji Sung), of the Narcotics team. However, his life takes a drastic turn when he gets addicted to drugs himself after being kidnapped. The drama shows how he returns to his original life and what happens to him during the kidnapping phase.
Connection K-drama reveals full cast
Connection is a drama that is highly anticipated, starring a worthy cast lineup, including Ji Sung, Jeon Mi-Do, Kwon Yool, Kim Kyung-Nam, and more. The SBS drama revealed the rest of the cast and their character details. Cho Han-Gyeol and Kim Min-Ju play Jang Jae-Kyung and Oh Yoon-Jin’s young roles. Jeon Mi-Do plays Oh Yoon-Jin’s adult character, who later becomes an upright reporter. Lee Hyun-So portrays Park Jun-Seo’s younger version. This crime thriller is also about friendship.
Jung Yoo-Min adds a suspicious perspective with her mysterious character, Choi Ji-Yeon, in the drama Connection. Yoo-Min was previously appreciated for her performance in Celebrity. Her strong persona and acting skills make the viewers more interested in the crime-action drama. Moon Sung-Geon will play Won Chang-Ho, Mold Group’s chairman and Won Jong-Soo’s father (Kim Kyung-Nam).
Cha Yeob will portray Oh Chi-Yeon’s character. He has an important role in the drama as one of the inner circle friends and Won Jong-Soo’s subordinate. The drama Connection further adds Lee Kang-Wook as Jung Yoon-Ho, a taxi driver. He is also one of the inner circle friends. However, his personality is of someone who is always ready to help his friends and wants to be among the famous ones. His acting skills will add a charm to the drama.
Connection is all set to premiere on May 24, 2024, at 10 p.m. KST on SBS.
