Soo-Ji and Woo-Ri episode 29 aired on May 3, 2024. KBS1’s ongoing daily drama revolves around a rom-com storyline featuring Hahm Eun-Jung and Baek Sung-Hyun in the lead.
The narrative follows their lives and the family members surrounding them. While Hahm Eun-Jung plays Jin Soo-Ji, a celebrity psychiatrist at Haedeul Hospital. Baek Sung-Hyun portrays Chae Woo-Ri, the rookie doctor of the same hospital.
Even though love hasn’t bloomed between Dr. Jin and Chae, a closeness is blossoming slowly. So far, the drama has shown that Soo-Ji has a traumatic past after her mother left her in her childhood.
On the other hand, Dr Chae exudes his kind nature and witty behaviour toward everyone. Soo-Ji goes back to her ex-boyfriend Han Hyun-Sung on his arrival, while her sister Jin Na-Young approaches Woo-Ri with her feelings. Dr. Chae rejects her almost immediately. However, being sisters, they always end up fighting with each other.
Soo-Ji and Woo-Ri episode 29: Hahm Eun-Jung faces more trouble
Spoilers ahead. The episode begins with Dr. Jin panicking about her patient, Eun-Woo. Chae Woo-Ri (Baek Sung-Hyun) comes to her rescue and helps her deal with the panic attacks.
On the other hand, she gets called by the hospital chairwoman. They further talk about the scandal regarding the slap video going viral. Meanwhile, Han Hyun-Sung gets strict orders from his father not to get involved in Jin Soo-Ji’s matters.
Soo-Ji decides to visit Jin Na-Young (Kang Byul) at her broadcasting office. She tells Na-Young that she is going to disclose the truth and won’t care about her anymore. However, their chaotic conversation is witnessed by one of Na-Young’s colleagues; he even records it. After their conversation, Na-Young tries to attempt suicide, making that colleague believe her words against Jin Soo-Ji.
In the meantime, Woo Chang approaches A-Ra’s kindergarten teacher for a date. On the other hand, Chae Woo-Ri and Han Hyun-Sung sit for a chat regarding Jin Soo-Ji’s mental health and situation.
When Dr. Chae enters Hyun-Sung’s studio apartment, he sees Soo-Ji’s presence everywhere. Their conversation kind of gets heated. The episode ends with Soo-Ji coming in front of the camera to justify her part, only to get hit by eggs from the patient’s family. Now, what will happen to her?
