Jung Yi-Rang is all set to make an appearance in TV Chosun’s upcoming weekend miniseries, DNA Lover. Her agency confirmed her role in the drama.
DNA Lover is directed by Sung Chi-Wook. He is known for his works like Tomorrow, Mouse, and others. Chi-Wook joins forces with the screenwriter Jung Soo-Mi for the drama. The rom-com miniseries revolves around Han So-Jin (Jung In-Sun). She is a researcher who has had many failed relationships but continues to search for her love through her genes. The drama also features Choi Si-Won, Lee Tae-Hwan, and others.
Jung Yi-Rang’s agency confirms role in DNA Lover
As reported in Star News Korea, Jung Yi-Rang’s agency, Total Set, has confirmed her appearance in DNA Lover. They said, “Jung Yi-Rang has confirmed her appearance in the TV CHOSUN weekend miniseries ‘DNA Lover,’ which is scheduled to air in June.”
Total Set further added, “Please look forward to the performance that Jung Yi-Rang, who is nicknamed the face of a thousand and is called the best licorice actor due to her acting at the right time and right place, will show through this work.”
In the drama, Jung Yi-Rang is all set to share screen space with Choi Si-Won. Si-Won is going to play an obstetrician-gynecologist as Shim Yeon-Won. While her character is not clarified, Yi-Rang’s fans are quite excited to see her in the drama. Conversely, Lee Tae-Hwan portrays the role of a firefighter as Seo Kang-Hoon.
Jung Yi-Rang is a regular crew member of Coupang Play’s entertainment program SNL Korea Season 5. She makes quite an appearance as an SNL member. Yi-Rang has charisma and attitude.
