MBC‘s ongoing K-drama Wonderful World, starring Cha Eun-Woo, has extended its runtime for episode 14. The Friday-Saturday K-drama has already reached its last leg. As the drama is garnering a lot of appreciation, the creators have decided to extend the finale episode.
This mystery thriller drama is directed by Lee Seung-Young and penned by Kim Ji-Eun. The storyline revolves around a mother, Eun Soo-Hyun (Kim Nam-Joo), who sets out on a journey to dig out the truth about her son’s death. When she meets Kwon Seon-Yul (Cha Eun-Woo), secrets start to unravel about her son’s murder.
Wonderful World finale episode gets extended runtime
Wonderful World stars Kim Nam-Joo, Cha Eun-Woo, and Kim Kang-Woo in the leads. As the MBC drama is coming to an end, the creators are thinking of giving a little surprise to the viewers. The series has recorded a good amount of viewership ratings ever since it premiered back on March 1, 2024. On March 9, 2024, it collected 11.4% according to Nielsen Korea’s nationwide standard.
Now, as per Star News Korea, the creators of Wonderful World have decided to extend the finale episode (Episode 14) by 10 minutes. The series, in general, airs at 9:40 p.m. KST, but on April 13, 2024, on its last episode, the broadcast will begin 10 minutes earlier.
While talking about this extension of the drama, the production team shared their opinion with Star News. They said (originally in Korean), “This is a decision to better convey the characters’ stories to viewers ahead of the end. As viewers have given us a lot of love, we will repay their support by making the final episode more solid.”
