The Tyrant is an upcoming thriller South Korean drama series that will make its arrival on Disney Plus in 2024’s second half. The renowned filmmaker Park Hoon-Jung has served as both the writer and director of the highly anticipated series. The series centers around a secret initiative called the “Tyrant Project” conducted in Korea.
As shown in the recent Instagram post by Disney Plus for The Tyrant, the series will star well-known South Korean actors. The list includes Kim Seon-Ho, Kim Kang-Woo, Cha Seung-won and Cho Yun-Soo. In the new series, Kim Seon-Ho will play the role of Director Choi. The character is a significant member of a government agency. He has been leading a tyrant program unofficially.
Meanwhile, Kim Kang-Woo will portray an overseas intelligence agency member, Paul. Cha Seung-Won will play the character Lim Sang-won, a former agent. Cho Yun-Soo will portray the role of a technician, Ja-Kyung.
