The highly anticipated Korean reality competition Physical: 100 is returning with a second season soon. Titled Physical: 100 Season 2 – Underground, the show features 100 contestants from diverse fields and fit, both physically and mentally, competing in a set of challenges. They will do everything in their power to survive and keep moving forward until one of them wins the grand cash prize and the title of having the “ideal physique.”

Set against the backdrop of a large underground mine, the contestants push themselves to their limits, and while some succeed, others face a brutal failure.

The official trailer of Physical: 100 Season 2 showcases 100 contestants battling it out in a variety of interesting challenges. Considering it is the second season, the stakes are even higher as they put their everything on the line to win. Meanwhile, the trailer begins with the contestants running on a treadmill. They pretend as if the challenge is their Olympics and remain determined to keep their pride. The cast keeps running as fast as they can to ensure their safety.
The contestants reach the location for their main challenges in the competition. They realize it’s an underground mine, which means that tasks are only going to get tougher. They push small carts with weights on a railway track-like path. The contestants further push through confrontational matches, flipping each other over. In another challenge, they have to pass through a maze to reach their goal and ensure they don’t get caught.
One of the contestants stresses the need to be extremely alert if they want to survive. In the competition, each contestant has their own cemented life-size bust. Once they get eliminated, they have to break the bust themselves, indicating the end of their journey. The trailer documents a lot of busts breaking down, teasing a stiff “hellish” competition.
