In episode 9 of Transit Love (EXchange) season 3, viewers see all ten participants conversing at the house. They try to figure out who has feelings for whom. A misunderstanding starts to brew between the ex-couple, Cho Hwi Hyun and Lee Hye Won. When everyone sits across from each other in the house’s living room, someone asks Cho Hwi Hyun whether he has any sweet snacks with him.
Cho Hwi Hyun then brings the candies his ex-girlfriend Lee Hye Won gave him in his ex-lover package. These candies mean a lot to Lee Hye Won, and when she sees Cho Hwi Hyun giving away those candies to everyone as a snack, she cannot handle it. She leaves the living room immediately and goes to her room. There, Lee Hye Won breaks down in tears. She then comes down again to make Cho Hwi Hyun understand her feelings. However, he seems to be unbothered by the whole situation.
Seeing that, Lee Hye Won breaks down in the kitchen again. Song Da Hye and Kong Sang Jeong see her in the kitchen and start consoling her. Later on, Cho Hwi Hyun realizes that Lee Hye Won has been crying because of him, but he does not understand why. Initially, he tries to talk with her but then decides to sleep on it in the Transit Love (EXchange) season 3 episode.
At night, Lee Hye Won goes to Cho Hwi Hyun’s room to talk to him. However, he responds to her in a deep sleep without realizing what he is saying. As such, it creates a misunderstanding between the two. It also makes Lee Hye Won realize that she does not want to continue having feelings for him. She now also wants to start making new connections.
