The K-pop idol and member of the popular Korean boy group EXO, Chanyeol, is all set to star in a highly anticipated upcoming K-drama titled The Frog on Netflix. The idol’s agency, SM Entertainment, confirmed the news on Wednesday, February 7, 2024. The agency has released a statement, saying, “It is true that Chanyeol will star in the Netflix series The Frog.”
The Frog is a brand-new mystery thriller K-drama series that will arrive on the popular streaming platform Netflix. Mo Wan Il serves as the director of the upcoming thriller series. He is best known for directing the hit K-drama The World of the Married. Apart from EXO’s Chanyeol, the upcoming series will also star Yoon Kye-Sang and Go Min-Si, among others.

The renowned South Korean singer and rapper Park Chan-Yeol, popularly known as Chanyeol of the beloved boy group EXO, will portray a significant role in the upcoming Netflix thriller K-drama The Frog. He will play a suspenseful character in the series. The K-pop idol and actor has previously been a part of several notable K-dramas, television shows, and movies.

The Frog will arrive on Netflix in 2024.
