Episode 7 of Tell Me That You Love Me, the highly absorbing romantic K-drama, arrived on ENA and Disney Plus on Monday, December 18, 2023. Kim Yoon-Jin has directed the ongoing Korean series, which follows the love story between a deaf artist, Jin-Woo, and an aspiring actress, Mo-Eun. Jung Woo-Sung and Shin Hyun-Been act as the lead pair in the series.
The audience has been eagerly waiting to see what the seventh episode of Tell Me That You Love Me has in store for them, especially after episode 6 ends on an enthralling note with Mo-Eun confessing her romantic feelings for Jin-Woo for the first time. Episode 7 takes viewers on a heartwarming romantic journey as Jin-Woo and Mo-Eun begin dating.
Tell Me That You Love Me Episode 7: Mo-Eun & Jin-Woo begin dating
Tell Me That You Love Me Episode 7 opens right where the preceding episode ends. Mo-Eun expresses her romantic feelings for Jin-Woo in sign language in the most heartfelt way. Her confession pleasantly surprises Jin-Woo. He goes on to explain that it’s hard for him to accept her feelings, as he feels bad that he can only communicate with sign language and can not speak her language.
However, he goes on to tell Mo-Eun that he would like to spend more time with her and do all the things she likes together. Mo-Eun is happy with Jin-Woo’s reaction. The two then go on to see the alluring sunrise at the seaside. There, the two share their very first kiss. Since then, Mo-Eun and Jin-Woo have started seeing one another.
They first go to watch a film at the movie theater. After watching the film, Jin-Woo realizes that Mo-Eun is still being quite considerate to him, as she chose to watch the film that Jin-Woo would enjoy and not the one she wanted to watch. Jin-Woo feels that they should do things they genuinely like. The two come even closer and get more comfortable with one another. Mo-Eun visits Jin-Woo’s home and the two spend time effortlessly. Things seem to go well between the two.
Meanwhile, Jin-Woo’s former lover Song Seo-Kyung visits Hong Ki-Hyun’s bar and tells him that this time she is here for good and wants to set things right for all of them. Later on, when Jin-Woo comes to see Ki-Hyun, he tells him about Song Seo-Kyung’s visit, which seems to disturb Jin-Woo a bit. In the meantime, Mo-Eun meets Song Seo-Kyung at the gallery.
Unaware of her and Jin-Woo’s past relationship, Mo-Eun goes on to ask her about Jin-Woo’s college days. Hearing that he used to nag Seo-Kyung in college, Mo-Eun is shocked, as he is always so considerate with her.
Mo-Eun’s childhood friend Jo-Han gets his heart broken in Episode 7
Episode 7 of Tell Me That You Love Me also sheds light on the character of Jo-Han, who is Mo-Eun’s close friend and a famous music composer and producer. He has romantic feelings for Mo-Eun but has not been able to confess that to her. Jo-Han secretly admires her and even prepares a wonderful gift for her on the occasion of her birthday.
He gets to learn that Mo-Eun is seeing someone from her brother, Mo-Dam. However, Jo-Han still tries to stay indifferent to the information. Later on, he goes on to see Mo-Eun at the cafe. The two then go on a stroll in the street. They meet Jin-Woo on their way. Seeing them together, Jo-Han realizes that the two have gotten close.
When Jo-Han asks Mo-Eun about her relationship with Jin-Woo, she reveals that they are seeing each other now. It completely breaks Jo-Han’s heart and he reacts in a way that makes Mo-Eun upset. She leaves right after that.
At the end of the Tell Me That You Love Me episode, Song Seo-Kyung arrives at Jin-Woo’s house at night. Jin-Woo does not seem comfortable with her visit. However, he lets her come inside his house. Song Seo-Kyung then goes on to ask him, “If I say I’m really okay now, will you believe me?”. The episode ends with the two standing in silence.
