My Demon is all set to air a new episode 5 on Friday, November 8, 2023, at 10 p.m. KST on SBS and Netflix. The series follows the story of a chaebol heiress, Do Do-Hee (Kim Yoo-Jung), who falls in love with the demon Jung Gu-Won (Song Kang). The two enter into a contract marriage for their own reasons. Moreover, the demon does everything he can to protect Do-Hee now that his powers have shifted to her.
In the newly released trailer for My Demon episode 5, Do Do-Hee visits Jung Gu-Won’s house. Since hiring him as a bodyguard, the two have encountered several problems. Although Do-Hee knows about Gu-Won’s identity as a demon, she hasn’t fully comprehended it yet. Moreover, their dynamics have been slightly awkward after Do-Hee’s proposal to the demon, so it will be interesting to see what Do-Hee’s visit will entail.
Song Kang startles Kim Yoo-Jung in My Demon episode 5 Trailer
The trailer begins with Do-Hee entering Gu-Won’s house. The eerie atmosphere, accompanied by the mysterious background music, only makes viewers more curious about the demon’s house. And Do-Hee isn’t any different. As she looks around, she sees a shelf filled with books and diaries and grows confused at the interior.
After she proceeds towards the main section of Gu-Won’s house, she sees shelves lined with clocks. Do-Hee wonders if collecting vintage clocks is the demon’s hobby. Following this, viewers are introduced to the clocks at the beginning of the trailer. With only 10 numbers, each clock represents a person’s lifespan. After the contract given by the demon expires and Gu-Won succeeds in earning their life, the clock disappears. However, Do-Hee remains unaware of the fact.
She then proceeds to take a closer look at the clocks and realizes they all look the same and have only 10 numbers. She wonders if there is anything normal about Gu-Won. Eventually, a specific diary with a blue light in between captures her attention. Just when she reaches the top of the shelf to grab it, Gu-Won arrives in time to distract her.
Do-Hee gets flustered looking at Gu-Won and spots a cross necklace on him. The demon calls her a “sneaky woman.” Episode 5 will continue to document more of their interactions as they deal with family politics and their newly developed feelings for each other.
