Love Song for Illusion, starring Park Ji-Hoon and Hong Ye-Ji, will air in January 2024 on KBS2. Vanziun’s acclaimed Naver webtoon of the same title inspired the story of the upcoming series. Yoon Kyung-Ah is the writer of the K-drama, while Lee Jung-Seop has directed it.
Park Ji-Hoon portrays the lead role of Sajo Hyun, aka Ak-Hee, and Hong Ye-Ji stars opposite him as Yeon Wol. KBS has dropped a new character teaser trailer for Love Song for Illusion on Friday, December 8, 2023. The teaser shows Yeon Wol (Hong Ye-Ji) fiercely looking for revenge.
Hong Ye-Ji seeks revenge in the new teaser for Park Ji Hoon’s Love Song for Illusion
In the recently released Love Song for Illusion teaser trailer, Hong Ye-Ji’s Yeon Wol seems determined to seek revenge. She refuses to trust anyone and focuses on her mission to avenge her family. The teaser also gives viewers glimpses of the complicated romantic relationship between Yeon Wol and Park Ji-Hoon’s dual personalities, Sajo Hyun and Ak-Hee.
Yeon Wol belongs to the Yeon dynasty. She is also Yeon Pung-hak’s only daughter and a royal successor. In the teaser, she is displayed as a fearless and determined assassin who goes by the name Gye-ra.
However, she will get entangled with both personas of Park Ji-Hoon, the royal prince Sajo Hyun and his alter personality, Ak-Hee. She will become a concubine for the crown prince after losing her memory. As it is, Love Song for Illusion promises an exciting narrative for the viewers.
Apart from Park Ji-Hoon and Hong Ye-Ji, the upcoming series Love Song for Illusion will also feature Ji Woo, Kim Dong-Won, Hwang Hee, Kim Tae-Woo, and Woo Hee-Jin, among several other supporting actors.
