Keum Sae-Rok & Noh Sang-Hyun recall their memories together in Soundtrack #2 Episode 2
The second episode of Soundtrack #2 begins with Soo-Ho recalling painful memories of their breakup. Soo-Ho remembered how he wanted Hyeon-Seok to hurt the same way he did. The duo tells both their respective friends about their first interaction four years after they parted ways. While Hyeon-Seo knows she has to teach him to earn money, she wonders what’s in it for Soo-Ho. Meanwhile, he decorates his house with all his achievements for her to see.
Before leaving to teach Soo-Ho, Hyeon-Seo retrieves a book, which sends her back to the past. In the book, he’d written notes to encourage her when she used to teach him piano. She smiles reminiscing happy moments in their relationship, and gets ready. However, when she hands him the same book while teaching him piano, it is not the same book she had before.
Hyeon-Seo begins to teach him piano, scolding him for the same mistake he made in the past. After the lesson, she tries to leave but her cycle lock won’t open. So, Soo-Ho volunteers to drop her in his sports car. On the way, they get distracted talking about the past but soon decide to stick to only business. Hyeon-Seo heads home, and Soo-Ho follows her to her house.
Meanwhile, Soo-Ho meets with a content creator named Kei and wants to hire him for the company. While waiting for Kei, he recalls a past incident. During their relationship, Hyeon-Seo accused him of daydreaming and living in a fantasy world while she lived to make ends meet. The two end up in an argument based on their perspective on life.
Soo-Ho eventually meets Kei in the cafe. Kei wants to work with him on a specific project before he leaves for the US for some time. Soo-Ho agrees and lets the creator work in his house. The scene shifts to Kei meeting Hyeon-Seo while waiting in line for a job. The duo bonds over the music when she provides some feedback for his song. Hyeon-Seo also plays the piano to accompany his guitar music. The two become friends.
While working on the project, Kei asks Soo-Ho if he can invite his friend to be a part of the project as well. Soo-Ho is unaware that the friend is none other than Hyeon-Seo. Meanwhile, Kei asks her to meet him later, and she agrees. Hyeon-Seo leaves for Soo-Ho’s house only to find Kei playing guitar in the front yard. The three stand looking at each other.
The bonus track by the end of Soundtrack #2 Episode 2 shows that Soo-Ho had visited Hyeon-Seo’s house and met her two little students. They reveal that she is about to close down the piano academy, which leaves Soo-Ho wondering.
All two episodes of Soundtrack #2 are available on Disney Plus.
