Popular K-drama The Escape of the Seven is all set to air a brand new episode on Friday, November 10, 2023, at 10 p.m. ET KST on SBS. This series follows the story of seven individuals involved in the disappearance of a young girl. What follows is a game of deceit, revenge, and betrayal, leading to significant drama. The show is extremely popular among viewers because of its storyline and characters.
Episode 15 of The Escape of the Seven will continue to document events after Min Do-Hyuk’s (Lee Joon) arrest and the subsequent dramatic events that follow. A newly released trailer from SBS gives a brief context of what viewers can expect in the upcoming episode. It can be seen that Matthew Lee (Um Ki-Joon), who viewers know as K, continues his plan to exact his revenge for being abandoned.
Matthew Lee continues with his plan in The Escape of the Seven Episode 15
Episode 15 of The Escape of the Seven will pick up from where the previous episode left off. In the last episode, Matthew Lee successfully manages to betray Min Do-Hyuk into getting the latter arrested. Meanwhile, the newly released trailer offers an insight into Matthew Lee executing more of his plans, including revealing Han Mo-Ne’s (Lee Yoo-Bi) secret.
Do-Hyuk, however, escapes from the police. While he’s almost caught by the police, Mo-Ne arrives just in time to save him. He thinks there’s some connection between him and K, all this while, not knowing that his suspicions might be true. Mo-Ne asks Do-Hyuk to not lose to K. However, her plan is for Do-Hyuk to protect her in case things don’t go her way.
However, Matthew Lee presumably comes to know of Mo-Ne helping Do-Hyuk escape from the police. He, in turn, reveals Mo-Ne’s history of bullying just in time when she plays a similar character in a movie. In the trailer, the public comes out in large numbers to oppose Mo-Ne, while the latter denies all the accusations against her.
Matthew Lee, in the trailer, asks Yang Jin-Mo (Yang Jong-Hoon) to catch Do-Hyuk. In the trailer, the two are seen fighting each other, which can only mean that Do-Hyuk has potentially caught on to Matthew Lee’s actions. In another scene, Geum Ra-Hee (Hwang Jung-Eum) calls Matthew Lee as Shim Joon-Seok, his original name. This indicates that she might know of his true identity.
By the end of the trailer, as Chairman Shim is about to reveal the truth of his wife’s death to the press, he receives shocking information from Matthew Lee. It might be possible that the latter reveals that Do-Hyuk is the Chairman’s birth son and is held in captivity.
