The Matchmakers Episode 3 plot, release date & time
The romance between Rowoon and Cho Yi-Hyun has not started yet. The transition from being strangers to someone special has however begun. At the end of episode 2 of The Matchmakers, Yi-Hyun’s Joo-Deok agrees to help Rowoon’s Jung-Woo find husbands for three sisters.
The preview of Episode 3 started with the lead pair walking together when Joo-Deok is heard saying, “The timeline is two months and I do every step with you, Sir.” For context, Joo-Deok is one of the best matchmakers in town and thus Jung-Woo seeks her help to marry off three sisters who have crossed their marital age. If he fails to do so in two months, the King will declare him as a traitor and make him drink poison.
Joo-Daek’s reason for helping Jung-Woo is that the third sister hired her to find husbands for her two elder sisters. As fate brings the lead characters together, Episode 3 will see their growing chemistry. Jung-Woo will also help in solving a suicide/murder case.
Aside from Rowoon and Cho Yi-Hyun, The Matchmakers also stars Park Ji-Young as Park So-Hyeon, Jung Shin-Hye as Maeng Ha-Na, Lee Hae-Young as Jo Yeong-Bae, Choi Hee-Jin as Mrs. Cho, Jo Han-Chul as King, Jin Hee-Kyung as Queen, and Park Ji-Won as Maeng Doo-Ri.
Meanwhile, The Matchmakers episode 3 release date is November 6, 2023, at 9.45 p.m. KST on KBS. New episodes air on Mondays and Tuesdays. Fans can also watch the Korean drama on Viki with subtitles.
