Kim Yoo-jung & Song Kang’s My Demon Will Premiere Next Month
My Demon is a fantasy romance comedy-drama series that will premiere on the 24th of next month. The storyline involves the theme of a marriage contract, which is a familiar concept in many K-dramas. However, the overall plot of the upcoming series makes it different from others.
In My Demon, Mirae Group heiress Do Do Hee is a devilish-like person with enemies around her. Despite her cold personality, she falls in love with a demon named Jung Gu-won, a powerful deadly devil who has been ruling for 200 years, thinking humans are insignificant. The two enter a marriage contract as Do Do Hee thinks Gu-won may be her savior. However, the demon loses his powers after getting married but is determined to protect Do Do Hee.
Speaking of the project and her role, Yoo-jung said, “It’s a project in which the charismatic character and story felt interesting to me.” She added, “I’m filming enjoyably with heart-fluttering excitement because I think I will be able to showcase a new side of me that I have not been able to until now. Please spend the end of 2023 with ‘My Demon.’”
On the other hand, Song Kang also shared his thoughts on filming My Demon. He said, “I’m really happy to be able to work together with ‘My Demon.’ Please show lots of interest and anticipation as we are working hard to film and show a great project that lives up to expectations.”
Whether or not Gu-won will turn out to be a savior or a destroyer for Do Do Hee is something that K-drama fans will find out in November on SBS.
