Yoo Jae Suk, Blackpink’s Jennie, and More Rumored to Star in a New Variety Show

Looks like a new star-studded variety show is in the works! As per Soompi’s report, industry insiders have revealed that popular MC Yoo Jae-suk has reportedly teamed up with A-list celebrities. According to reports, Blackpink’s Jennie Kim, television personality and actor Cha Tae-hyun, and Moving’s Lee Jung-ha may come together for a tvN variety show – Apartment 404 (working title).

Viewers are in for a treat if these reports are anything to go by. The cast members’ varied nature and fun personalities make it a perfect watch. According to the information above, the show is set to premiere in the first half of 2024. As it is, fans of these celebs will have to wait and see what’s in store.

A variety show with Jennie Kim is on its way to premiere in early 2024

Led by director Jung Chul-min of Sixth Sense, tvN announced that the setting for the show would be an apartment where the cast members would be solving various missions, taking viewers on a big laughter ride in the process. The show promises to be a stressbuster, and if the rumored cast makes their appearance, it will add more charm to the show.

Moreover, tvN responded to the rumored reports and confirmed two cast members’ appearances. A statement released by the network stated, “It is true that Jennie and Lee Jung Ha are confirmed to appear on Apartment 404. The broadcasting details are yet to be decided.”

If MC Yoo Jae-suk joins the show, it will mark a much-needed reunion for him, director Jung Chul-min, and Blackpink’s Jennie Kim. They worked together in Village Survival, The Eight. It will also be Lee Jung-ha and Cha Tae-hyun’s debut on a variety show. A good mix of debutants and veterans is what makes a show worth watching. Besides, Jung-ha and Tae-hyun might as well take some tips from their co-stars.

Apartment 404’s production team is currently in the process of recruiting guests, so viewers will have to wait for more updates from the network. The wait isn’t too long since the show might premiere in the first half of next year.
