Do Aur Do Pyaar begins with the introduction of a couple, Kavya and Vikram, who are much in love. On the other hand, Anirudh, a successful businessman, and Nora, an aspiring actress, are also together. While the two couples are happy together, something seems missing in their lives. It turns out that Kavya and Anirudh are married but do not have any affection left for each other. They lead different lives while living together. However, there was a time when they were madly in love with each other. Things changed when Anirudh took over his father’s business and could not give time to Kavya.
Due to their marriage to each other, they are unable to commit to their partners. While Vikram wants to explore the world, Kavya wishes to stay in the country and live in a new flat. On the other hand, Nora wants Anirudh to divorce his wife and commit to her. When both Kavya and Anirudh ask their lawyers to prepare divorce papers, they are afraid to tell each other about it. However, when Anirudh decides to tell Kavya about the separation, he learns that her grandfather has passed and she is returning to her parents’ house.
Anirudh decides to go with Kavya. On their way to Kavya’s home, they reminisce about the days they were dating each other. Upon reaching her home, Kavya and Anirudh get settled into the family. Kavya’s father, who is still angry with her for eloping, welcomes them wholeheartedly. While having dinner, Anirudh tells everyone about their love story and how Kavya proposed to him. However, after having another argument with her father, Kavya leaves the house with Anirudh.
They go to a bar and start drinking. As they recall the good times that they had with each other, they witness a spark between them. They soon get intimate and forget about their affairs for a while. After returning from Kavya’s hometown, the two somehow avoid their partners and try to spend time together.

Things soon get complicated when Kavya and Anirudh grow closer. Anirudh learns about Vikram and how he wants to move in with his wife. Despite their budding love for one another, they decide to part ways and leave their apartment.
Do Aur Do Pyaar then leaps for a year. Kavya visits the apartment where she lived for years with Anirudh. Viewers then learn she did not go to Vikram a year ago after parting ways with Anirudh. Moreover, Nora also left Anirudh after becoming a successful actress. The two find themselves visiting their old home and talking about life. Now, they both are single, and the movie ends with them having a good time on the balcony. Whether they will get back together or not is for the viewers to decide.
