Following the critical acclaim and current box office success of Mr & Mrs Mahi, Rajkummar Rao will star in Maddock Films’ new romantic drama, Bhul Chuk Maaf. This film, featuring Wamiqa Gabbi as the female lead, is anticipated to present a fresh take on love. According to previous reports, Bhul Chuk Maaf is “a quirky romantic drama set in a small town, revolving around a couple caught in an unusual circumstance.”
Meanwhile, the latest scoop suggests that Rajkummar Rao and Wamiqa Gabbi have already reached Varanasi to begin shooting. “Rao and Gabbi have already arrived in Varanasi to film the project under the direction of Karan Sharma. The shoot is set to commence soon,” an insider revealed.
For those unaware, Bhul Chuk Maaf will introduce a new on-screen pairing with Rajkummar Rao and Wamiqa Gabbi. This project also marks director Karan Sharma’s second collaboration with Maddock Films. He has earlier worked on the acclaimed SonyLIV series Maharani, which starred Huma Qureshi.
Rajkummar Rao also has a strong track record with Maddock Films, having starred in hits such as Stree, Made in China, Roohi, and Hum Do Hamare Do. Overall, the upcoming film marks a new collaboration between those already associated with the production house.
