In an exclusive interview with Radio Nasha, Abbas-Mustan opened up about their long-lasting relationship with Shah Rukh Khan. They spoke fondly of their meetings with the superstar, emphasizing his continued respect and generosity towards them. “Whenever we meet Shah Rukh or go to his house, he still meets us with so much respect and gives us time,” they remarked. Despite the test of time, Shah Rukh Khan has maintained the same warmth and cordiality that characterized their earlier collaborations.
However, the director duo disclosed a significant hurdle to their reunion—a lack of a suitable script. “We will surely do a film with him, definitely. But we don’t have a script for him,” they admitted.
According to Abbas-Mustan, whenever they engage with Shah Rukh Khan, he eagerly inquires, “Kuch laaye ho? Anything exciting?” Unfortunately, they have yet to present him with a script that piques his interest. “We have not received anything that might be new to him. Aisa koi script he nahi hai. He is an expert. He can play any role. If we get it, we will obviously work with him,” they affirmed, highlighting their eagerness to collaborate once again.

In an interview with Star Sports, the actor revealed his decision to take a brief hiatus following a string of physically demanding film roles.
