Actress Mrunal Thakur is exploring further and further in the Telugu cinema. After debuting with Sita Ramam, the actress also starred in the recent romance drama Hi Nanna. Now, the actress is all set to star opposite Vijay Deverakonda in the upcoming movie Family Star. She recently opened up about the challenges she faced while shooting the film and playing the character of Indhu.
Family Star follows the story of Govardhan, a dedicated family man. While he leads an ordinary life, he does not hesitate to begin a fight when it comes to his family’s safety and respect. His life takes a turn when he meets Indhu and falls in love with her.
Mrunal Thakur reveals shooting for Family Star was tough
The makers recently held a pre-release event for Family Star. The movie’s leads, Mrunal Thakur and Vijay Deverakonda interacted with fans and answered several questions during the event. Thakur won everyone’s hearts with her warm gesture. She bowed to the audience to thank them for their immense love. She opened up about her challenges while discussing her experience working on the movie.
She revealed how it was difficult initially, but soon, she aced her role. As per Pinkvilla, the Jersey actress said, “First 15 days were tough, but later in my head…in my heart, I knew no one can play Indhu like me. I love Indhu so much, I love everything about this film, this process.” For the unversed, Mrunal Thakur majorly works in Hindi cinema.
Mrunal then pointed out how working with a rowdy Vijay Deverakoda is a dream of every girl, but this time he has become a family star. She expressed her gratitude towards her co-star Rohini and the movie’s producer Dil Raju.
Helmed by Parasuram, Family Star will hit the theaters on April 5, 2024.
