Prithviraj Sukumaran took up the role of a real-life Indian migrant worker, Najeeb Muhammed, who goes to Saudi Arabia to earn money for his family. However, he finds himself working as a slave, herding goats in the middle of a desert. How he survives the bizarre conditions shapes the story of the movie.
