The announcement read, “The highest-grossing Malayalam film – #ManjummelBoys is now coming to entertain the Telugu audience. Grand release worldwide on April 6th.” Apart from Mythri Movie Makers, Primeshow Entertainment and Sukumar Writings are also distributing the movie.
According to Sacnilk.com, the film has crossed $25.5 million at its worldwide box office till now. There is further speculation that the film will continue to uphold its blockbuster status in the upcoming days.
The storyline of Manjummel Boys is inspired by an actual event from 2006. A group of young men ventured to the Guna Caves in Tamil Nadu and ignored the safety boundaries. Consequently, one of the friends falls into the caves, prompting the rest to try to rescue him. The film pays tribute to their camaraderie and courage, showcasing their unwavering commitment to their friend.
