DNS Cast: Dhanush, Nagarjuna, Rashmika Mandanna in Sekhar Kammula’s Movie

Tamil star Dhanush is currently basking in the success of his latest film, Captain Miller. The movie came out ahead of Pongal and has been having a good run at the box office. However, Dhanush is now all set for another film, which will mark his 51st project. The actor has joined hands with director Sekhar Kammula and the film is tentatively titled DNS.

Dhanush is among the most prominent stars in the Tamil industry. Throughout his career, he has given away several blockbusters. He has also spread his charm in Bollywood and Hollywood with his impeccable acting skills. Coming back to his upcoming film, very little was previously unveiled about the project. However, the makers have now revealed its stellar star-studded cast and fueled fans’ excitement.

Dhanush to share the screen space with Nagarjuna and Rashmika Mandanna in DNS

Sekhar Kammula’s upcoming film, DNS, was recently launched in Hyderabad. The launch event on Thursday, January 18, had a pooja ceremony, which was attended by the film’s crew and cast members. Apart from Dhanush and filmmaker Sekhar Kammula, Nagarjuna also attended the event, confirming his involvement in the project.

Further, the film’s production company, Sree Venkateswara Cinemas LLP, confirmed the star cast. Taking to their official X (formerly Twitter) handle, the production house dropped pictures from the launch event. Along with the pictures, the caption read, “A blockbuster voyage that’s bound to resonate with the nation! DNS kicks off with a pooja ceremony and the shoot begins with a key schedule.” The company then tagged Dhanush, Nagarjuna, and Rashmika Mandanna in the tweet.

As per Hindustan Times, the makers have named the film DNS by dubbing the initials of the leads and the director’s first names. Moreover, Dhanush allegedly did a few scenes on the first day of the shoot, which will be followed by a fully planned schedule.
