Prabhas is known for leaving viewers impressed with the grandeur and scale of his movies. He has led several movies made on a hefty budget of millions and broken box office records. Despite his popularity, the actor has faced some downs in his career, especially when his movies were criticized widely. However, that does not stop the actor from entertaining his beloved fans. He has a number of movies lined up in his kitty. They include Kalki 2898 AD, Salaar Part 2: Shouryanga Parvam, The Raja Saab, and Spirit.

Kalki 2898 AD

Kalki 2898 AD is one of the most-awaited movies of 2024. The movie allegedly has a unique plot that revolves around science fiction. Nag Ashwin is directing the film and Prabhas is playing the lead character. Not much about the movie and its characters has been revealed yet. However, its glimpse, which was unveiled last year, created a massive buzz among fans. Because the film was being compared to the popular Hollywood franchise Star Wars, the director himself dismissed the rumors of it being inspired.

Apart from Prabhas, Kalki 2898 AD features a stellar star cast from different cinemas. Bollywood stars Amitabh Bachchan, Deepika Padukone, and Disha Patani are playing key roles in the movie. Tamil star Kamal Haasan also portrays a crucial character in the film.

After a long wait, the makers have now finalized the film’s release date. Kalki 2898 AD will hit theaters on May 9, 2024.

Salaar Part 2: Shouryanga Parvam

Prabhas was last seen playing the lead in Prashanth Neel’s action drama Salar: Part 1: Ceasefire. The movie is currently enjoying its theatrical run and has minted millions worldwide. Now, fans are waiting for the movie’s second part, titled Salaar Part 2: Shouryanga Parvam, because the first one ends on a cliffhanger.

Very little is known about the film and the makers are not sharing details about it. Yet, Prabhas recently teased that the upcoming part will have an intriguing story. In an interview with Pinkvilla, he said, “The audience can anticipate the continuation of the intense and gripping storyline with new layers added to the characters in Salaar 2. The sequel will push the boundaries and we cannot wait to deliver it to the audience.”

Prithviraj Sukumaran, Shruti Haasan, Jagapathi Babu, and others played key roles in the movie. The movie was made on a hefty budget and Hombale Films bankrolled it.

The Raja Saab

Prabhas took the internet by storm on the occasion of Sankranti as he announced the title of his film with filmmaker Maruthi. The actor shared a poster for the upcoming movie titled The Raja Saab. In the poster, he could be seen clad in a lungi and shirt as he walked on a street. He has already won hearts because of his style in the film, and fans are happy they will get to see Prabhas in a new avatar.

While fans were puzzled about the film’s genre, Maruthi himself clarified that the film would be a “grand horror experience.” In an interview with Variety, the director said, “‘The Raja Saab’ stands as one of my most ambitious projects to date. Collaborating with Prabhas and People Media Factory is both an honor and exciting for me as a filmmaker. We are geared up to offer our audiences a grand horror experience.” He added, “Having Prabhas on board is particularly special as his electrifying screen presence infused with our horror narrative is sure to leave audiences amazed.”
