There has been a lot of anticipation around Superstar Rajinikanth’s new movie. The upcoming film will mark his 170th project and was tentatively titled Thalaivar 170. After several months of waiting, the makers of the movie have finally announced its title. However, they did not reveal much about its plot.
Rajinikanth rang into his 73rd birthday on Tuesday, i.e. December 12. On the occasion of his birthday, the makers announced Thalaivar 170’s title and released a short teaser. The actor is all set to bring his magic to the big screen in a dashing avatar.
Rajnikanth’s upcoming movie titled Vettaiyan
Rajinikanth’s upcoming film has been titled Vettaiyan. The makers of the movie dropped an intriguing teaser but kept most of the details under wraps. The one-minute-long teaser opens with the superstar sitting in an office with his feet up while reading a book. He then walks out of it wearing khaki pants and brown leather shoes. A piece of upbeat music plays in the background as he appears on the screen.
He dashingly pulls off his signature move where he adds lens to his glasses. Rajinikanth then says, “When the hunt is on, the prey must fall!” The pistol shot confirms that the actor will be fighting some goons in this action entertainer. His look is being praised by his fans who cannot wait to watch the superstar in his hero zone again.
TJ Gnanavel has written and directed the movie, while Lyca Productions has bankrolled it. Apart from Rajinikanth, Vettaiyan also has an ensemble cast. Bollywood superstar Amitabh Bachchan has come on board and escalated fans’ excitement for the film. Fahadh Faasil, Rana Daggubati, Manju Warrier, Dushara Vijayan, and Ritika Singh are also playing key roles in this awaited movie. The film’s shoot commenced in October with Rajinikanth himself.
