The official announcement for the movie Falimy was made in December 2019. Initially, in 2019, Antony Varghese was slated to play the lead role, and the film was set to be produced by Jude Anthany Joseph and Aravind Kurup.
However, Antony later exited the project, leading to Basil Joseph stepping into the lead role. Subsequently, Cheers Entertainment replaced the previous production studio. With this change, Falimy became Basil Joseph’s third collaboration with Cheers Entertainment Productions.
