The anticipation around Yash’s next project following KGF: Chapter 2 has been extremely high. Since viewers have not witnessed the actor’s magic on the big screens for over a year, there was a lot of buzz around his next movie. Yash recently announced on his social media his next project, tentatively titled Yash19, keeping fans excited. However, on December 8, 2023, the KGF actor finally revealed that his next movie has been officially titled Toxic.
Yash took to his social media handles to announce the title and release date of his much-anticipated new project. However, the actor’s fans will have to wait for over a year to watch him in a completely new avatar. Toxic is reportedly scheduled to be released on April 10, 2025.

Toxic’s recently released announcement teaser opens with a piece of suspenseful music. A burnt ticket with a joker appears on the screen, followed by the name of the production house, KVN Productions. The teaser further revealed that Yash has collaborated with director Geetu Mohandas for the project. A mysterious face then appears in the ashes, but only for a fraction of a second.
The short clip further reveals Yash’s dashing look as upbeat music plays in the background. He could be seen wearing a hat, smoking a cigar, and holding a gun. The movie title, Toxic, is then featured on the screen with the tagline “A fairytale for grown-ups.”
Taking to X (formerly Twitter), Yash wrote, “‘What you seek is seeking you’ – Rumi. A Fairy Tale for Grown-ups. Toxic,” while announcing the title of his next film.
Reportedly, his next movie will also star Sai Pallavi, who seems to have signed the deal for the movie. Moreover, Toxic is expected to be an action-thriller film based against the backdrop of a drug mafia in Goa. As per reports, the makers have locked a heavy budget for the movie.
