One of the much-anticipated collaborations of Mollywood’s power duo, actor Joju George and director A.K. Saajan, is here. Their latest offering, Pulimada, will make its digital premiere on Netflix. The OTT release date is reportedly set for November 23, 2023.

Joju George’s Malayalam Movie Pulimada is releasing on November 23, 2023
Following the resounding success of Voice of Sathyanathan, the duo collaborated again with Pulimada. Also known as Pulimada: Scent of a Woman, it is also releasing in Malayalam, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, and Hindi. The film is directed, penned, and edited by A.K. Sajan. The Indian Malayalam-language thriller boasts an impressive lineup of actors, featuring Aishwarya Rajesh alongside Joju George. It also includes Chemban Vinod Jose, Lijomol Jose, Jaffar Idukkim Johny Antony, and Balachandra Menon.
Set in a serene village near the wilderness, Pulimada unfolds against the backdrop of chilling news. The news is about a man-eating tiger who has spread fear among the whole village. As expected, it leads to curfew and unrest within the village. The plot thickens when police constable Vincent hears a shocking news before getting married.
At first, despite its promising plot, Pulimada faced challenges. The film didn’t do well in terms of the box office collection.
In a recent interview, Aishwarya Rajesh spoke about why doesn’t do more Malayalam films. She explained, “Malayalam is a very tough language. I can’t speak Malayalam. It is very difficult to do films without knowing the language. I would love to do more Malayalam films and hope to do more in the future. But for now, language is a hindrance.”
Pulimada is releasing on Netflix on November 23, 2023.
