Tiger 3: Advance Booking Collection Day 7: Salman Khan’s Film Promises Good Start as Release Date Nears

The release of the highly anticipated Tiger 3 is just around the corner. With just two days left, the advance-booking figures are soaring high. It is hinting at a promising opening for the film at the box office on November 12, Diwali.

However, there is speculation that Tiger 3 may not see a release in Oman and Kuwait. Various reports suggest that the reason for the ban is that the movie depicts the Muslim characters in a negative light.

Tiger 3 is the fifth installment in the YRF Spy Universe. It follows the success of Ek Tha Tiger, Tiger Zinda Hai, War, and Pathaan. The film is directed by Maneesh Sharma, known for his work on Fan and Band Baaja Baaraat.

How much did the Salman Khan film earn till now?

According to the latest report on Sacnilk.com, the advance booking collection for the opening day has already crossed an impressive USD one million. Additionally, the report reveals that a staggering 4,62,327 tickets have been sold for the first day of Tiger 3 release. Among these, 4,35,913 tickets are for the Hindi 2D version. The rest 14,158 tickets are for the Telugu 2D version and 1957 tickets for the Tamil version. The demand for the IMAX version is also notable with 8203 tickets already booked for day one.

YRF planned this Diwali release quite strategically. Furthermore, they are breaking the tradition of not releasing films on Lakshmi Puja for the past 11 years. Rohan Malhotra, Vice President of YRF Distribution, expressed confidence in Salman Khan’s star power, stating, “We think that there is some part of the population that would want to celebrate Diwali by watching Salman Khan’s movie because this is the third part of Tiger movie.”

As the release approaches, the industry is keenly watching to see if Tiger 3 will set a new Diwali opening record, banking on the massive advance bookings and Salman Khan’s undeniable box office allure.
