Director Vikas Bahl recently shed some light on the making of the film, stating, “While there have been a lot of films that have shot action in Ladakh before, we got really lucky as we shot on a completely new terrain. It was an abandoned town above Lamayuru where most sequences were shot. So yes, the weather conditions were unfriendly and erratic, with constant dips in oxygen levels.”
He further added, “But Tiger, Kriti, and Rehman sir really practiced hard on days off and in between action scenes, in spite of the challenging weather conditions and low oxygen levels.”
He also thanked the locals who helped the team in adapting to the tough weather conditions in Ladakh.
Ganapath’s much-awaited song, Hum Aaye Hain, premiered a few days ago and has been trending ever since across all platforms. The film’s makers also released the second song, Jai Ganesha, sung and composed by Vishal Mishra.
The film also stars Amitabh Bachchan alongside Tiger Shroff and Kriti Sanon. In a dystopian world, the film’s premise centers on Guddu’s transformation into Ganapath, a mercenary embarking on a mission to protect his people from the notorious organization led by Dalini.
Originally scheduled for release on December 23, 2022, Ganapath was postponed and rescheduled for a theatrical release on October 20, 2023. It will be available in Hindi with dubbed versions in Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, and Kannada.
