Psychological horror film SUN CHOKE unleashes intense trailer and trippy poster.

Lady Barbara Crampton’s career renaissance continues to swell as she invades the world of edgy, challenging indie horror with a renewed, mature vigor.

The acclaimed, Ben Cresciman-directed dark, surreal thriller SUN CHOKE (read our exclusive interview with Crampton about the film here) has charmed festival audiences, leading to a distribution deal via Xlrator Media who have set the films theatrical release for August 5th (VOD and On Demand on August 2nd) and today, the studio released a new trailer and poster.

Here’s the trailer:

And here’s the far-out poster:

SUN CHOKE stars Sara Hagan as Janie, who is recovering from a violent psychotic break. She’s subjected each day to a bizarre holistic health and wellness regimen designed, and enforced, by her lifelong nanny and caretaker (Crampton), but when she develops an obsession with a stranger, Janie’s buried demons begin to surface.

More juice on this femme-centric mind-bender when we get it…
