We already blathered about first person sci-fi/horror shoot-em-up HARDCORE HENRY (formerly called simply HARDCORE) on this site and mentioned that when we saw it at TIFF 2015, we didn’t really dig it. By we, I mean me. I sat too close. And I wasn’t big on the ultra macho, comic-book misogyny that the piece thrills to.
But plenty of people do seem to dig it. And certainly, it’s an innovative picture that does exactly what it says its going to do…
With that STX Entertainment has just released a new TV spot for the film (which is produced by NIGHTWATCHs Timur Beckmambetov, written/directed by Ilya Naishuller and stars DISTRICT 9s Sharlto Copley), in anticipation of its April 8th theatrical bow.
So…here it be. Buckle in!
