Exclusive shots from 2016’s “other” AMITYVILLE movie.
With Franck (MANIAC) Khalfoun’s upcoming sequel/remake/whatever AMITYVILLE:THE AWAKENING moving up the schedule this year like candy up a Pez dispenser, it made sense that at least one savvy microbudget filmmaker would attempt to head them off at the pass and steal some of that big budget studio picture’s thunder.
Such is the way of the exploitation film. Ommmmm.
With that, Uncork’d Entertainment has given us the first look at director Michael Angelo’s (with a name like that, you know this will be a masterpiece) own take on the legacy of the infamous Long Island spook house, AMITYVILLE TERROR.
Coming 2016 from Uncorkd Entertainment (date TBC), AMITYVILLE TERROR is directed by Angelo and produced by Justin Jones, Zeus Zamani and Phil Day. It’s written by actress Amanda Barton (KING OF THE LOST WORLD, DRACULA’S CURSE). Barton also co-stars.
Here’s the synopsis:
When a new family moves to an old house in Amityville, they are tormented and tortured by an evil spirit living in their house, and trapped by the malicious townspeople who want to keep them there.
