SHOCK gives you an exclusive look at new psyche-thriller LAST SHIFT.
I caught director Anthony (Clive Barkers DREAD) DiBlasis terrifying, slow-burning psyche-thriller LAST SHIFT (aka PAYMON: THE KING OF HELL) a few months back and I have nothing but raves for it. I like my horror strange and I love leaving a film with more questions than answers. LAST SHIFT doesnt rely on exposition to unravel your nerves, rather it uses the remarkable performance of lead Juliana Harkavy (THE WALKING DEAD), a dense sound design and DiBlasis taught, measured direction to do you in proper. I cannot recommend it enough.
The film stars Harkavy as officer Jessica Loren, a cop assigned to take the last shift at a closing police station. Ordered not to leave the station under any circumstance, Jessica comes to learn that its more than just an outdated station, its home to the ultimate embodiment of evil and his devoted followers. The Manson-esque monster has haunted the station ever since he and two of his followers committed suicide on the night of their arrest. Trapped, Jessica is left to fight for her very survival in the devil’s playground.
LAST SHIFT hits Blu-ray and DVD tomorrow via Magnet/Magnolia but SHOCK has this exclusive clip to get you primed for its terrors. Have a look below:
