Now you can be the kind of girl to make em wish they spoke a little French. Israeli boutique Biantika is selling made-to-order exact replicas of the Double RR Diner uniform, famously donned by Shelly Johnson (Madchen Amick) and Norma Jennings (Peggy Lipton) on Twin Peaks.
Twin Peaks fever is high. Following a beloved Gold Box set, its Netflix streaming debut, last summers Blu package and the recent news of its Showtime return, David Lynch and Mark Frosts Peaks is revitalized and rediscovered. Naturally, as the seminal series meets contemporary fandom and 90s nostalgia, the urge to both dress like its ensemble and cosplay as them is surely on the rise as well. Well, Biantikas got you.
The Tel-Aviv located label, Biantika by Anat Berman, is described as indie-retro one inspired by vintage uniforms and sports outfits. Such a mission statement is the type that leads to a whole section of diner chic, one of which is a terrifically rad, exact replica of Queen Shelly Johnsons outfit at the Double RR. The dress will run you 450 ILS, or roughly 112.14 USD. I cant seem to find total confirmation they ship internationally on the site, but sizes and prices are offered in both US and EU, so it seems likely.
