The Friday the 13th franchise is one filled with stories of alternate cuts, excised gory shots and other changes made in the editing room. One example of this is the alternate ending for Friday the 13th Part 3.
Fridaythe13thFranchise.com in collaboration with a fella named Billy Kirkus present a series of unearthed photographs from the set of Steve Miner’s sequel that depicts Dana Kimmell’s Chris Higgins encountering Jason Voorhees outside of a cabin…and getting beheaded. There are enough photos here that you feel like you’re watching the scene really play out (actual footage still remains MIA).
