Based on the Vertigo comic book series created by Chris Roberson and Mike Allred, iZombie is executive produced by Veronica Mars creator Rob Thomas and Diane Ruggiero. In iZombie, Rose McIver takes the lead role of Liv. She works in a coroner’s office, and in order to maintain her humanity she’ll be forced to dine on the brains of the deceased, but in doing so she will absorb their memories and use it to solve their murders, among other crimes.
Also starring Malcolm Goodwin, David Anders, Robert Buckley, Nora Dunn, and Ruhul Kohli. iZombie will debut mid-season on The CW.
