One of the great things about ALIEN is that the viewer never felt that the crew of the Nostromo were expendable. They were living, breathing characters that we wanted to see live. In SEGA‘s new ALIEN: Isolation game, Ripley’s daughter Amanda goes in search of her missing mother only to come face to face with dire circumstances.
SEGA and CREATIVE ASSEMBLY have stressed time and again that this game is a direct sequel to the original film in tone as well as story. Now they have taken it a step further, meet the crew of the Nostromo themselves.
ALIEN: Isolation – The Nostromo Edition is a DLC bonus when you pre-order the game to be released this October.
In it, you can play as either Dallas, Parker, or Ripley as you attempt to escape the fate of both Kane and Brett. It is a perfect way to complete this vision of a ALIEN’s original story and given everything I’ve seen so far, I can’t wait.
Alien: Isolation will be available from October 7, 2014, for Xbox One the all-in-one games and entertainment system from Microsoft, PlayStation®4 computer entertainment system, Windows PC, Xbox 360 games and entertainment system from Microsoft and PlayStation®3 computer entertainment system.
