VOD Release Date for ‘Comedown’ Starring Game of Thrones Co-Star

The film is making its way to the U.S. on VOD on August 5th, courtesy of The Orchard and Shock Till You Drop (under the distribution partnership we formed last year). At that time, you will be able to find it on iTunes, Amazon and other VOD platforms.

Directed by Menhaj Huda (Kidulthood), the film finds Anderson playing one of six friends – all of whom have known each other from childhood.

They break into the tower block they lived in as kids, now deserted and condemned, to rig-up a pirate radio station, get high and party. When one of the group goes missing, this group begin to search the dark interior of the tower and soon realize that they are not alone: a resident psychopath lurks in the shadows and is hunting them down, taking them out, one-by-one.

The interesting angle here is that the hero (played by Anderson) – who wishes to spend the night in this tower block sober – is drugged (as a joke) and he must not only take on the threat, but do it while he’s “high.”

Steven Kendall penned the script.

Comedown joins The Orchard/Shock Till You Drop’s previous releases (all available on iTunes/Amazon): SoloBela Kiss: PrologueFortune Cookie Prophecies and The 50 Best Horror Movies You’ve Never Seen.
