And yet, we’ve haven’t see the film released domestically. There have been rumors over the years pointing to false release dates. Hell, one theater here in Los Angeles accidentally listed it on its website, but when you went to buy tickets it directed you to another film.
For a while there, it seemed like CBS Films was content to just leave it on the shelf for no one to see it.
Well, get this… 7500 was released somewhere in the world: Thailand. That’s the official poster you see for that release, too.
One Shock reader told me it wasn’t too shabby. It had its problems, but was mostly enjoyable.
There’s still no word on a U.S. debut, however. Rumors persist that it might see a release in October, but we’ve heard that one before. Following this year’s day-and-date release Afflicted (another CBS title), I’m not clear why they don’t try something similar with 7500. Can any industry insiders maybe shed some light on this one for me?
