Extreme filmmaker Takashi Miike's next directorial effort, Yakuza Apocalypse The Great War Of The Underworld, will find him delving back into the horror genre.
It may sound like it favors the crime genre over horror, but what you need to know is that it's being touted as the "first yakuza vampire movie," says Screen Daily.
Joining the cast is Yayan Ruhian, of The Raid and The Raid 2, and Hayato Ichihara.
According to the outlet…
Ichihara [stars] as a yakuza underling who discovers his boss is a bloodsucker, only to get bitten himself before going up against a gang of deadly international assassins.
Ruhian will play one of those assassins.
